As you may or may not be aware, on the 26th I posed a vote for which of the Tash Man's challenges I should engage in. As a result of a combined effort from Hugh Boyle and Gaia Fenn, the winner was a pink moustache. You will have to take my word for it that I tried my best to fulfil what was requested of me but, alas, the dye that I bought was entirely insufficient. Although it did succeed in giving me some pinkish staining on my skin surrounding my glorious mo, not even a flick of pink attached itself to my beastly bristles. No, it simply fell straight off.
So, I'm afraid, other than a warning not to use Colour Xtreme Hair Art if you are planning on dyeing your hair pink, I'm afraid I can't offer you loyal fans too much. What is not so tragic is the amount of money this blog has raised. As an individual I've managed to raise £118 and my team (La Maison Moustache) has managed to raise £141. My infinite gratitude goes to my Dad (Paul Harris), Stephen Harris, Gaia Fenn, Hugh Boyle, Aunty Daun, Serena Cheng, Alves Alves, Luke Dubery, Tash Man, Gavin Kendall and, finally, (or reversely, firstly) my Mum (Niobe Harris).
The money all goes to The Prostate Cancer Charity and the Institute of Cancer Research to help fight prostate cancer. Donations are open for about a week from now so it's not too late to contribute if you haven't already. As I said before, even just £1 would be helpful. I'll probably do one more post in about a week's time to give a final grand total and let everyone know what form the Tash Man's fury that I neither dyed my moustache nor dressed up takes.
